Description
From an estate in rural Shelby County Indiana .......
.... this wonderful vintage 1940's Vogue Picture Record 'For the Children' featuring 2 records with 'The Boy Who Cried Wolf' Parts 1 & 2 ; and 'The Trial of "Bumble", The Bee', Parts 1 & 2. The records are numbered R-745 and R-746 ~ art work by Kanouse. Produced by James Jewell with the orchestra directed by Hunter Kahler. Made by Sav-Way Industries, Detroit, 13, Michigan. The records come in the original cardboard box ~ sort of like a file box with tabs at the top. The box has gotten wet at some point and is damaged on the back and lower right corner on the front. This should be evident in the pictures. The records, however, are in fine condition. The light spots on the records in the photos are light reflections ~ the actual colors are bright and clear. Minimal light use ~ they lay flat. I have no way to play them to judge the sound quality. Please email me if you have any questions. Thanks for looking and Good Luck bidding!!
PAYMENT AND SHIPPING POLICIES
Much to my dismay, I am having to set aside a paragraph in each auction listing to spell out in detail what 99.9% of you with an ounce of common sense and plain common courtesy already know. You, as a buyer, can expect for me to notify you within 24 hours (usually much sooner) of shipping costs and payment methods accepted. You can usually find this information in the auction listing, but I will also personally email this information to you. I will acknowledge payment received and give you a specific date as to when your package will be shipped. I ship twice weekly ~ more frequently if you have a specific need. I am very flexible in my shipping schedule, so please make me aware and I will do my very best to see you receive your item when needed. I will package your item with great care ~ just the way I would want to receive it if it were being sent to me. I will email you again the day your package is mailed and leave positive feedback for you at that time. In return, as a seller, I expect to have my initial email answered and payment made either via Paypal or in the form of a money order or personal check within 10 DAYS. THIS IS A MUST ~ UNLESS you are a previous customer OR we have worked out other arrangements previous to the auction’s end. This 10 day payment policy means International sales will be absolutely by Paypal only!! No mailed International payments will be accepted. There will be no exceptions. Paypal payments will be shipped to the CONFIRMED Paypal address only. If your address listed with Paypal is Unconfirmed, you will need to have this confirmed with Paypal or mail your payment of a money order or personal check. I will no longer ship to Unconfirmed addresses. Period. If payment has not been received ~ either in my Paypal account or my mailbox by the tenth day, a non-paying buyer report will be filed with ebay and the item will no longer be available to you. Appropriate feedback will be left at that time and your user ID placed into my blocked bidders file. Plain and simple! It truly saddens me to have to take such a hard nosed approach but once again, the few have spoiled it for the majority. To all of my wonderful, wonderful customers ~ and you know who you are ~ this should not effect our relationship in the least. Good communication and prompt payment gets you your package quickly and with no fuss. Again, what the vast majority of you with any common sense already know.
Many thanks for taking the time to read through this boring and regrettably now-necessary policy. Julie @shabbycat2
