Description
One sunny afternoon in May 1977, I interviewed Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers for a local magazine called City Lynx, edited by a chap who would become one of the founders of The Big Issue, hi Mel! They were in town supporting Nils Lofgren at the Edinburgh Playhouse. Wonderful night. They blew Lofgren away! I also interviewed Lofgren after the gig in his car back to his hotel after we met at Radio Forth. Busy day. A typical day for me in the 70s and 80s. Wonderful day!
