The vinyl
This is the original heavier and thicker type of vinyl (only early press) later reissued press are much more flimsier and less robust. This is free of any warping and lays perfectly flat on the turntable!
This vinyl looks superb and barely played! Only in strong light can possibly any whyspy sleeve removal marks/scuffs possibly be seen! Believe me this is a real rarety! 23 years old like this!
The Audio
This was played on a top system at very loud volume prior to listing The audio is cristal clear and vibrant with (no) distortion at all! (no) loud constant clicks or pops heard! Note: Debrit was seen on the playing surface after play, indicating this. It is noted that I heard a couple of minor isolated static ticks/pops only, but importantly no loud constant clicks or pops and no distortion at all. I would class myself as highly critical please look at my completed listing of records that i have sold of this calaber and you will see that i normally get it right! The audio is graded at least excellent plus to near mint in my opinion.
Points to note! This album has been stored in a case laying dormant for at least 20 years! A build up of dirt and dust over the years causes static ticks\crackle. A constant clean is recomended before each play. From my personal experiance this reduces static crackle and enhances the audio qaulity!
Please note! I always add this disclaimer! I have described the audio quality as honest and as I heard it. Although I never heard any major problems other than prevoiously described, Please allow for the odd light static crackle\ticks here and there (not) consistant through out the audio! Please remember that this is a genuine 23 year old vinyl that would have originally have been played on a 23 year old system!
The labels
These are the oiriginal 1st UK issue UNDERGROUND RECORDS labels, Barely just a handful of feint spider traces , indicating that this has barely been played in my opinion.. This has obviously barely ever been played in my personal opinion. The spindle hole is perfectly round and free of any wear.
The Record Sleeve
This is the original die cut card record sleeve 'Made in Great Britain' patented sleeve! No splits or tears. No real nasty creases to mention. Note. Slightly uneven at the top right opening edge noticed if looked for. The vinyl has been seperated from the sleeve! Please note! An anti static liner was put in when I purchased this album many years ago, to protect the vinyl from the sleeve! Graded at excellent in my opinion.
