never-played archive 1st pressing
NO hairlines or storage ‘haze’
labels : mint
NO spindle marks - NEVER on a turntable
bright, clean, sharp, immaculate
both labels are perfect
NO marking or faults
cover : very near mint
fully laminated (outside and inside) gatefold sleeve - dazzlingly glossy exterior and interior layout
this is the 1st pressing original cover with blue inside layout, blue-green tinted group photo and white lettering (2nd pressings have the red interior, black & white photo and red lettering)
superb spine, tight seams, razor-sharp opening edges - merely tiny bumps to the top and bottom left corners
correct original poly-lined paper inner sleeve is snow-white and as-new
ORIGINAL GERMAN PILZ LABEL PRESSING OF THIS CLASSIC HEAVY PROGRESSIVE LP IN MINT CONDITION
incredible record! - mint throughout - one of the best pieces of heavy rock, combined with melodic prog, that the German scene produced, and that includes all the big monsters from there - at times like Black Sabbath meets Cressida - perfection! - bizarre lyrics display the sheer genius that only writing in English (when you are not fluent in English) can produce - engineered in Hamburg by the legendary Conny Plank over just three days in July of 1971 - never-played archive copy! - an LP to rival anything out of the British underground from these masterful squareheads - and appropriately enough, perhaps, the album was produced by J. Schmeisser (who also took the group photo) - using 9mm I guess?!
