Die zweite Reihe der RCA Living Stereo-Neuauflagen durch Analogue Productions mit 25 neu gemasterten Klassikern wird Ihr Ohr entzücken und Sie erstaunen durch ihre Klarheit sowie ihren warmen und vollen Klang. Genau wie bei unserer ersten hoch geschätzten LSC-Serie wurden Mängel früherer Auflagen behoben – angefangen beim Mastering über das Pressen der LPs bis hin zu den glänzenden schweren Hüllen von Stoughton Printing mit von Hand aufgebrachtem Druckblatt (an der typischen Falzung erkennbar), die ein getreues Duplikat der ursprünglichen künstlerischen Arbeit sind, "Living Stereo"-Logo, "Shaded Dog"-Label inklusive!
Gemastert durch Ryan K. Smith von Sterling Sound von den originalen 2-Spur Masterbändern mit 33 1/3rpm, galvanisiert und gepresst bei Quality Record Pressings – einem der besten Vinyl-LP-Hersteller – an diese besonders laufruhigen 200g Platten reicht keine andere Edition heran.
Die Streichervirtuosen dieses 13-köpfigen, leiterlosen Ensembles taten gut daran, sich nach Arcangelo Corelli zu benennen. Sowohl als Geiger als auch als Komponist steigerte Corelli die Kunst des Saitenspiels in nie dagewesene Höhen und erforschte neue Dimensionen der Dynamik und Klangfülle. Was die Societa Corelli unter den Interpreten von Corelli, Vaivaldi und anderen Meistern dieser Zeit praktisch einzigartig macht, ist ihr Stil. Ihre Tongebung, die Verwendung von Vibrato und andere Feinheiten, die sich in dieser Performance zeigen, sind künstlerisches, kreatives und vitales Musizieren.

Mastered by Ryan K. Smith at Sterling Sound from the original 3-track master tapes, cut at 33 1/3, and plated and pressed at Quality Record Pressings — makers of the world's finest-sounding vinyl LPs, — no other editions match these for the quietest 200-gram platters available.
The 13 string virtuosi who make up this conductor-less ensemble did well to name themselves after Arcangelo Corelli. Both as a violinist and as a composer, Corelli brought the art of string-playing to heights never-before achieved, exploring new dimensions of dynamics and tonal richness. What makes the Societa Corelli virtually unique among interpreters of Corelli, VAS255533ivaldi and other masters of that period is their style. Their tone production, use of vibrato and other subtleties evident in this performance are artistic, creative and vital music-making.

Elman still plays with charm and elegance ... In this batch of pieces, where the encore wags the concert, so to speak, Elman and Seiger combine war-horses and novelties in captivating manner. I was charmed by the exotic "From San Domingo", by Arthur Benjamin, with its echoes of guitars and popular songs. Charles Miller’s "Cubanaise" ... (its) vivacious rhythms and sonorous middle section are most appealing. Perhaps the item that most listeners will fall for is Elman’s arrangement of the so-called "Canto Amoroso" by Sammartini, an encore which Elman has made peculiarly his own. - Gramophone
