VIVALDI TRIBUTE –
Sonic Arts 8 Direct-to-Disc –
Factory Sealed
This very fine direct-to-disc effort features Heiichiro Ohyama and the Cremona Chamber Ensemble, here celebrating the tricentennial of Vivaldi.
Released in 1978, it features wonderful performances of LA PRIMAVERA, CONCERTO GROSSO, and SONATA FOR VIOLIN AND BASSO CONTINUO, in an acoustic warm and welcoming that displays the presence of the players quite well. (A D2D release, by the way, with the Neumann Lathe manned by Bruce Leek.)
An album with extraordinary presence, here factory sealed. (Note that the shrink has torn on one corner without any resulting damage.)

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
