VLADIMIR VISSOTSKI (VYSOTSKY) "Le Vol Arrete" 2LP (Chant Du Monde, 1981 French ORIGINAL -- *Ultra rare*!)
Up for sale today is an excellent copy of the insanely rare "Le Vol Arrete" 2LP by Russian dissident folk singer and actor VLADIMIR VYSOTSKY (or, in the French spelling on the sleeve, VISSOTSKI). The copyright dates on the recording are 1977 and 1981, but Vysotsky himself died in 1980, so I'm assuming that this contains some of his last recordings. 22 tracks in all in a deluxe gatefold sleeve with French translations inside. An amazing package all around, and so, so rare! Seriously, even the CD reissue of this album is long out of print, and the last time I saw this 2LP for sale on E-bay, it sold for three digits! I'm starting my auction much lower than that, so make sure to bid early and often, because you won't find another copy in this condition for this price probably ever!

How great is that?!
Condition: As you can hear above, it plays pretty much 'as new'. The only reason I wouldn't mark it that way is because I bought it used and had to play it once to grade it and record the above sample. Seriously, that's all the play its gotten since it's been in my hands! So I would say it is comfortably NM-. The sleeve is in good shape, too, except for a little bit of light staining on the inside booklet (see photos 3, 4, 5 for closeups) and a tiny price sticker on the back. I would say that's easily VG+ or better. This 2LP set is in amazing condition all around!
