This auction is for a boxed set of original c. 1946-1947 VOGUE PICTURE PHONOGRAPH Records - V106 (FOR THE CHILDREN)
Vogue The Picture Record is A Tom Saffady Product - Licensed for non-commercial use on home phonographs only.
These records feature artist's illustrations embedded in transparent vinyl - the artist for these two records is "kanouse"
One record is Part I of "The Trial of "Bumble", the Bee" and "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" R-745. This record is found intact with no cracks. This record does show minor wear however since it is over 60 years old. There are no chunks missing from the edge
The other record is Part II of "The Trial of "Bumble", the Bee" and "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" R-746. This record is found intact with no cracks. This record does show minor wear however since it is over 60 years old. There are no chunks missing from the edge.
The graphics on each of these records is colorful and very detailed.
The original box for these two records is found in as is condition. The right & left sides have started to separate from the front & back. Also it appears that the front portion with the graphics has been scribbled on with lead pencil which possibly could be erased. However, it is made of very sturdy cardboard and has protected these two records for a long time.
This vintage VOGUE record set is a rare treat to have survived all of these years.
