"Interpret appropriately. This record, for the most part, resembles the actions of minimal tweaks here and there on a mostly electronic (or manipulated) soundscapes. 90% is soothing and geared for cat friendliness. There is also a slant of pop leanings. In fact there is a really nice pop gem in the middle of side 1. Small interludes are included for your carefully thought out "interspersement". There are a few harsher tracks to investigate, so do drop the needle around to find your sweet spot. The ear originally told me (and I don't know how or why, but it did, honest) that I was listening to a bunch of remixes. Further investigation reveals that the entire record is a remix of various artists, song titles will give it all away, but for review purposes, candidates include – Ralph Haxton, French Paddleboat (actually part Vote Robot), Vote Robot themselves, and more. A platform of experimental f**kery keeps leading me towards September / October "soapboxing" activities...Vote Robot, Vote Robot. ...Final words, feel free to proceed sans abandon." — Soil 7/20/99
