BORING EXPLANATION OF WHY THIS DESCRIPTION'S BELOW, NOT ABOVE! Since Ebay have removed the ability to scehdule auctions starting time/date it is no longer possible to prepare descriptions "offline". I took a break in writing up this bit.. and whern I came back to it someone (bless 'em) had already placed a bid. Which means (reasonably enough) that I can't add to or alter the original description. So anyhow... here's the gen..

This is a MINT Advance promotional copy of the 1979 single by THE CLASH, the recognised classic "LONDON CALLING" one of the major works of the Punk/New Wave era and generally regarded as the new "mod anthem". It is on the white CBS Promo label, catalogue# 8087. I realyy don't think I need to say any more!

PLEASE NOTE: there WILL be a UK P&P charge of £1.50 despite eBay's ill-advised policy of making "free postage" (UK only) compulsary. It seems more fair to state this charge clearly rather than include it "hidden" in the starting bid price. If you are not willing to pay this please do NOT bid. Thank you.
