This exceptionally rare 1976 private press LP, Coffee House I, was recorded at the U.S. Naval Station in Rota, Spain, featuring original compositions by service members and local musicians. Custom pressed by Recorded Publications Company (RPC), Camden, NJ, this album represents a unique intersection of military and music history.
Historic Provenance
This copy comes from the private collection of Vice Admiral John M. McConnell, a former Director of the NSA (1992-1996) and Director of National Intelligence (DNI) (2007-2009). In 1976, the same year this album was produced, Vice Admiral McConnell was stationed at Naval Station Rota, serving as the Operations Officer for the Fleet Ocean Surveillance Information Facility.

- Cover: Still in its original factory shrink wrap, showing minimal wear for its age.
- Inner Sleeve: Original rice paper sleeve is present, with a very small tear (~1") on the edge.
