Description

2-LPs (stereo), packaged in separate sleeves. David Manley was a genius working with tube electronics, but seemed to lack any sense of visual beauty, and the packaging of his admirable recordings is even klunkier than the look of his equally admirable amplifiers. On the other hand, these recordings made in the studio he designed to be ideal for recording and made with his own microphones and tube electronics are sonic sensations. Bunch (bass) leads a group of about eight musicians in a program of eleven numbers, mostly originals but including Coltrane’s Naima. Records NM, jackets VG+ (some ringwear).

Record will be shipped by media mail or priority mail for US shipments as buyer prefers, by first class international (air) for foreign shipments. Multiple orders gladly combined for reduced shipping cost – request total at conclusion of auctions. PayPal except for any items picked up by buyer.
