For auction today: Here is copy of this dbl album with famous and obscure bands on there like Cream, Tin Tin, Taste & Galadriel. Actually, I have a copy of Galadriel for auction now.
Not rare normally but this copy is housed in a canvas shoulder bag with printing on both sides as shown. This is how it came for promo copies only like radio station giveaways or promotional copies for various record stores etc... That's why it's called "sample bag". Otherwise the word "bag" has no real meaning/relation to the release. As you can see, they used the cover image of the Polydor Hendrix release for the other side of the bag print. This item as it is, so complete, would be among the rarest Hendrix-related albums.

Very nice to look at and an incredible piece!
 Beyond rare.
I don;t think the album was ever taken out of the canvas bag which is why the discs look unplayed and why the cover looks so nice condition. It's like a
time-capsule thing.
