This is the 1971 UK LP 1st Press, "PAWN HEARTS" by Van Der Graaf Generator

The LP was bought on its release in 1971, and is an early 1st pressing.
The vinyl is on the collectable pink CHARISMA 'scroll' label, number CAS 1051 and has the following early 1st press matrix numbers & stampers:
- Side 1: CAS 1051 A-1U "1" "G" with "BOBIL" etched in the blank vinyl near the label.
- Side 2: CAS 1051 B-1U "2" "G" "R"

Visual
Record is in superb condition, apart from just 1 feint thin surface mark in the middle of side 2 - this does not affect the audio.
The vinyl has no scratches, with just a few spindle marks on the record label, that are hard to see.
Visual grading is EX+
PLAYTEST
The LP plays superbly, and is quiet between tracks, with no pops, bangs, jumping or sticking,
Playtest grading is NEAR MINT
COVER
The cover is EX, and is an unlaminated gatefold cover.
There is partial ringwear on the front and back cover.
There are just some slight wear spots on the corners and edges.
The spine is in excellent shape with all the lettering clearly visible.
The inside of the gatefold is in good shape with just some general handling wear.
INSERT
The LP comes complete with the original lyrics insert (see picture).
This is in good shape apart from creases where it has been folded.
The insert is graded EX.

The record will be packed in a stiff package specifically designed for sending vinyl throught the post, with added protection on the corners
