1984 | Warner Bros
*** HISTORY!!! ***
Hello, eBay... So here's the story behind this. I picked this up last week from a local seller. In the pictures you will see the COA certificate from 2006, and pictures of the former owner getting the album cover signed by the band. It looks like the COA was from the "Universal Autograph Collectors Club" (UACC) which you can find online. There are a few things I about the condition I will detail below. Feel Free to ask me questions but I don't know much more than that. Thanks for looking! (See below for details)
--------------------
I'm no expert on grading vinyl, i'll try my best to evaluate the condition of both the cover and the album. I'll use the grading scale below as a guide and i'll be very conservative with my evaluation, Keep in mind I am only visually assessing the condition of the jacket and vinyl. I encourage you to ask questions, before biding, I will answer honestly. Good Luck!!! - Jason

COA - Autographed By All 4 Band Members / with COA - Certificate Of Authentication from UACC May 1st 2006 - "Universal Autograph Collectors Club" (UACC)
Signed By: Alex Van Halen, David Lee Roth, Eddie Van Halen, Michael Anthony
CONDITION- Jacket: VG / Vinyl: EX
The Jacket / Sleeve: I'm hoping the pictures can speak for the grade: maybe VG It is still Solid & Stiff. But please don't be alarmed by this list its not as bad as it sounds... I'm just on hyper detail mode...
Front:
- there are some small bends and creases Most notable On the bottom Right corner and Along the top (See Photos),
- Looks like a shadow of a round cup stain... which someone "might" be able to clean ... I'm not attempting that...
- The spine has a worn frayed hole (see photo) Print is a little off centered but still legible,
- corners are slightly rounded with age (small amount of fraying),
- 1" tear on the opening toward the top (see photo)
Back:
Upside down Back!!!! Weird?
There are a few creases maybe a rub mark
Back looks decent
Over all - A few little / tiny blemishes here and there which i might have missed, pictures tell the story.
Inner Paper Sleeve: It's the original picture paper sleeve... its falling apart, mainly because of the seem spliting. Its still a good looking square but the seems have split
The vinyl: EX. The record looks great, Maybe 1 or 2 super tiny super Light surface scratches (maybe), but definitely not deep. Still Super Shiny, not played much, It doesn't look like there is anything that will impact playback at all. Both label's are perfect.

Grading Scale:
Mint (M): Perfect, unused in sealed original packaging.
Near-Mint (NM): Close to perfect with no visible scratches or scuffs. Appears to be un-played or played less than 5 times.
Excellent (EX): May contain 1 or 2 very tiny & light cosmetic surface scratches and/or scuffs. Label and jacket may show slight signs of ring-wear / lightly bent corners. No creases, writing, tears or rips.
Very Good Plus (VG+): May show some signs that it was played and handled by a previous owner who took reasonably good care of it. Imperfections are cosmetic and do not drastically impact the playback. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs and surface scratches. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are ok. The label and jacket may have some slight ring ring-wear, discoloration, minor tears and imperfections. As with most vinyl, there may be low-level surface noise and light crackles and pops may be present, especially during quiet or soft passages in the track.
Very Good (VG): Many of the imperfections found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG record or sleeve.
Good (G) - It doesn't mean the record is "Trashed" but its definitely been played a lot. I'll mainly use this for jackets and inner sleeves (if the record is worth selling).
Fair (F) Poor (P): I do not sell Poor (P), Fair (F). If I use these it's because the album is super rare.
Disclaimer : I do not grade LPs professionally and I am not an expert on classification. Some of the vinyl I own, I bought in bulk at yard sales or estate sales. Ask Me Questions before bidding! Please understand, I'm grading my LPs on a visual estimation. Keep that in mind, because if you bid or buy this album, I'm selling it as is. If you're really interested in this record and you think the description & photo's are missing something, Message Me! Ask questions, I will answer honestly, I will send more photo's. I'm not trying to scare away a potential customer, I'm just saying, please consider everything I said before asking for a refund. Look, there is some risk when buying used 30 - 60 year old, pre owned, vinyl? together we can cut down on that risk even eliminate it! Thanks for looking!!!
