THIS IS A REALLY NICE COPY! THE COVER, LP and INNER SLEEVE ARE ALL IN VERY GOOD+ SHAPE!
THE COVER IS STILL IN THE ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP. THE SHRINK HAS A FEW SMALL TEAR TYPICAL WITH AGE.
GOOD LUCK FINDING AN OPENED COPY OF THE FIRST PRESSING WITH THE 4'S MISPRINT THAT IS STILL IN THE ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP! THIS COVER DOES NOT AGE WELL, BUT THIS ONE HAS BEEN PRESERVED IN PLASTIC LO THESE MANY YEARS!

THE INNER SLEEVE A SMALL SPLIT SEAM ON 2 SIDES. (see pics).

AS A BONUS I HAVE INCLUDED A Black & White PHOTOCOPY OF THE VERY RARE ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER FROM THE FIRST U.S. PRESSING. I like to add a PHOTOCOPY of the hype sticker, if I have it, as an added bonus as they are usually discarded and are hard to find.
Up for sale is one(1) Van Halen - Self Titled Debut LP from 1978 on Warner Bros. Records (#BSK 3075). THIS IS A TRUE FIRST PRESSING. This is the misprint label version with the number 4 listed twice on the Side 1 label. There is No Barcode.THIS IS THE SUPER RARE VERSION WITH THE LABEL MISPRINT WITH side 1 tracks being listed as 1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 5 instead of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
PLAY TESTED! I recently played this LP and it SOUNDS AWESOME!
The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition, but has wear typical with age that may cause surface noise typical with a Very Good+ grading. Even with a Very Good+ grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticeable during the quiet parts.
Nice, mostly clean labels.
The cover is still in the original shrink wrap and is in Very Good+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to soft corners, dings and ring wear all of which are typical. There are No Split Seams. There is a small tear stemming from the side opening.(please see pics)
This cover typically doesn't age well, but this one is still in Very Good+ shape.The custiom inner sleeve is in Very Good+ condition with wear typical with age including, but not limited to corner dings, creases, crumples, and ring wear. There are 2 small split seams.
The LP is now in a plain white sleeve.
