Van Halen "Van Halen" LP Rare, SEALED No Barcode! Original 1978 issue? No Reserve Auction! David Lee Roth, Eddie, Alex, Michael Anthony, DLRAbout this record: This is an authentic U.S. pressing of this album. It is not a recent reissue, cheap import or counterfeit pressing. Since there's no barcode on the cover, it must have been issued BEFORE 1979 when barcodes were first used on LP covers. Hard to tell which pressing and label variation it is since it's still sealed, but it still has a price sticker for $4.59 on the outside shrink wrap!
Vinyl condition: It is still sealed and we presume the record is in mint condition inside. We grade strictly using the Goldmine Grading Standard. Bid and buy with confidence as we have been in the music business for over 30 years. This ships from Washington State.
Cover/Sleeve condition: The outer sleeve is in Excellent TO Near Mint condition. NO seam splits, writing, cutout marks, or hole punches in the cover. There might be slight ring wear to the cover, but the wear could also be mostly on the shrink wrap. It's hard to tell without removing the shrink wrap. See photos for the actual copy up for auction here. Price sticker is on outside of shrink wrap.
Our grading Scale: Mint > Near Mint > EX or VG++ > VG+ > VG > G > F
We grade strictly (visually, unless noted) and our grading scale is based on the Goldmine
Grading Standard. "Mint" is stated only for sealed records and we rarely sell Good (G) and
Fair (F) records. Although grading is subjective, our Excellent is probably a lot of sellers "Near Mint."

United States: $3.99 for standard shipping via United States Postal System (USPS) Media Mail OR $9.99 via USPS Priority Mail for expedited shipping, which we highly recommend if you want it in a week or often less time. Delivery confirmation included with either shipping method.
International buyers: $14.99 US for Canada and $23.99 US for rest of the world(of countries that we ship to.) International shipments sent via USPS First Class Mail International service. Delivery times vary (from one week to three weeks or more.)

Packaging: We ship via United States Postal Service (USPS), in a padded record mailer box, and usually the same day we receive payment. Open and unsealed records are shipped with the record and innersleeve outside of the outer sleeve to prevent split seams in transit, unless otherwise requested. Delivery confirmation included with either shipping method for U.S. buyers. Buy with confidence as we have been in the music business for over 30 years.
