Description
This is a mint condition,still sealed, rare, Van Halen "Looney Tunes" red vinyl sampler album. It was issued by Warner Brothers Records U.S. in 1978. It was issued as a promotional item and was distributed to radio station staff, the music press and selected music industry V.I.P.'s. It was not made available to the general public. The album was pressed on red vinyl and still has it's original shrink wrap on it. It has never been opened. The label is a special Warner Brothers "Merrie Melodies - Looney Tunes". The back of the cardboard sleeve has a WB logo and the line "Stereo 33 1/3 RPM-Stereo-Promotion Copy-Not For Sale-PRO 705". This mint unopened record has had one owner, a former record company executive who has had it filed away since 1978. This is a rare Van Halen item, especialy in this condition.
