Up for bid is this copy of Van Halen - Running With The Devil / Black Sabbath - Paranoid Weird Promo 45
Ummm Ok, Not real sure what this is or where it came from. Paranoid has totally different lyrics and may be an early demo of the song. Running with the Devil is just Dave's vocals filtered out with no music, just Dave's vocals !!
I really have never seen another and cant believe there are many around. A sample for marketing/Early demos of each song?? ?? I dont know, but its sure to be a conversation piece. There is a chip on the intro to Paranoid that does not affect the song. Looks like a mfg. defect see close up pic ! I placed my needle at the begining and it "pushed" it right into the start of the song.
The record is Visually graded as NM Bought it used and played it once, looks new. Hear this classic record as it was meant to be heard, on vinyl at 45 RPM!

These 45's come from my personal collection that is 45 + years in the making. I now believe in the catch and release philosophy of record collecting. I have too many and want to simplify my collection. Alot of these 45's were bought just to collect, and weren't played at all. Grading Standards for EP’s LP’s 78’s and 45’s
Because record grading is subjective, I feel it's important to address how conservatively I grade in the description of a records and their covers/sleeves condition. I do my best to accurately describe each item. Sometimes things get by me, but I will make every attempt to make you happy with your purchase.
Please note that all record gradings described are obtained by visual inspection only, unless otherwise noted. When an item is play graded please understand that my turntable and cartridge for the last 25+ years has been a Pioneer PL-71 with an Ortofon concorde cartridge of some kind. The stylus is replaced every 6 months and the cartridge every 5 - 6 years.
Mint… Perfect record, clean gloss, no marks, beautiful in every way. Played once or twice if at all.
NM Near Mint - Very clean, Looks new only a few light marks if any. A great record.
VG+… Used, but not abused. Should play, and look very nice with minimal surface noise.
VG… Still a nice record. Looks a bit used, light scratches, no gouges, still plays well, some surface noise.
G… A bit rough but should play ok. Fills the collection. Has multiple scratches. What a bargain!!
SEALED: Applies only to sealed records. Naturally, it is assumed that the disc condition would be MINT, but that cannot be guaranteed. There can be production flaws on even these records. These items can only be assured of being sealed but not necessarily "MINT" condition.
If you don't see something.. Ask ! I probably have it.
