This is simply an incredible find!! This is a SEALED Van Halen debut Lp!! This was released in 1978 and quite literally changed music forever! Once you hear Eddies guitar, nothing is the same. This vinyl is 47 years old and you could be the first one to drop a needle on it!! This is a record club edition so this makes it a variant. The labels on this vinyl have additional catalog numbers from the retail release. The jacket has an additional printing on the back identifying RCA Music Service. It’s little things like this which adds value over time. First, the 47 year old vinyl is MINT & UNPLAYED!! No surface marks, scratches, or skips in the vinyl—UNPLAYED!! Second, the labels are factory issued MINT!! There’s no writing, tears, spindle marks, etc…. There’s labels are also a variant with the music club id on it. Third, the sleeve is MINT!! There’s no tears, splits, or writing— other than the way it came out of the record pressing plant. Fourth, the jacket spine is as close to MINT as you could ask for! Fifth, the jacket itself looks outstanding! The colors are vibrant and there’s no concerning marks across the front or back. The iconic shot of Diamond Dave on the back looks as fresh as the day it was released in 1978!! There are slight corner dings and a spider crease along the top right. Sixth, the shrink is nice and tight and is ready for another 47 years!! There are corner splits on the bottom, and a very slight one on the top right. You will receive exactly what you see in the pictures so please look and make sure you like what you see.
