Description
This is the chance to own one of the rarest first pressings of probably one of the finest albums ever recorded.
Original first pressing with the orange Warner label.
• vinyl plays with great sound throughout, due to age there are some visible scratches and hairlines but as you can tell from the photos it still maintains a lovely sheen.
• There is crackle which is audible throughout but not obtrusive - in fact I think it adds to its beauty.
• There is a tiny skip on 'Beside you' towards the end which causes about two words to be missed but again it has never stopped the enjoyment of listening to this album.
The vinyl has been professionally cleaned on a Okki Nokki record cleaning machine which has really added to that sheen I spoke of. Straight after cleaning it was placed in a Nagaoka anti-static sleeve for added protection.
• The original flip back sleeve shows its age with laminate creases, some staining on the unlaminated rear and some corner and edge wear. No writing is on the sleeve or labels though and the spine is fully readable.
Grab this album while you have a chance - they are getting rarer by the day!
