Description

Like the cover painting by Rob Springett, this Lp defies description.  Many years ago a musician friend of mine told me..."....you'll never fully understand or know this album...but you'll feel it in your soul after you've heard it".  Van Morrison released this record in 1973 on the Warner Bros. label (BS 2712) and though it was fairly well received it did not reach the commercial heights of some of his previous releases.  No matter....this album is a quiet masterpiece.  Whether it's the subtle and tasteful piano from Jef Labes, or the soulful, bluesy guitar of John Platania, this album is a testament to Van Morrison's genius.  Every note, every sound coming from this record was created with the heart, mind, and soul of  all those involved.  The audio is everything you could hope for...detailed, crisp, balanced, and distortion-free.  This white label promo definitely lives up to expectations and even surpasses in some respects.

 

Condition of Gatefold Lp Jacket: Near Mint....with "Promo" sticker and almost perfect... just some minor wear to corners and along the spine.

Condition of Record: Near Mint....only the slightest evidence of wispy hairlines/marks can be detected; they have absolutely no bearing on playback. This is a beautiful 1st press sounding copy.
