Description

Vanguard-Bach Guild Records three disc boxed set BG 627/9, original mono recordings.  Early dark red label discs pressed in the US.  Joseph Szigeti plays the six Sonatas and Partitas for solo violin of J. S. Bach.  See pics for program details.

Discs all NM- to NM, just a couple very faint marks on disc one and two have no affect on play.  Play-graded, they play beautifully.  Each disc has a small piece of tape on the side 1 label, which the original owner apparently put there to be able to identify the side at a glance.  I'm sure they could be removed, with some care.  Box VG++, very nice  Program notes are printed on the inside of the box.  This did not come with an insert.
