Description
Vanguard Stereolab VSD 2048 Mischa Elman, violin, with Joseph Seiger, piano. Jubilee record celebrating 50 years of violinistic triumph. Vinyl 9/10, with light paper scuffs and some spindle marks. 1C/1F pressing; early black deep groove Stereolab label. Auditioned, plays well, with light surface noise and occasional light tics and pops, mostly unobtrusive. Jacket 9/10. with 3/8" surface paper scar at bottom edge (see image); otherwise, bright and clean, with no taped seams or spine wear. Upper right-hand corner is factory miscut by about 1/8". Rear has small pencil check marks next to the selections. Liner notes by S. W. Bennett (Sidney Finkelstein); cover design by Jules Halfant. Original Vanguard paper inner sleeve.
