Description

Absolutely delightful disc to listen to from start to end! This collection of folk songs from southern France is recomposed (rather than simply orchestrated) and transcended to the highest level of vocal art music. The pure, almost girl-next-door sound of Davrath has not been bettered by other efforts by many, much bigger names. This is a gorgeous original black Stereolab label disc pressed by RCA.

Record condition: EX/EX+ (some light rubbing marks, plays very well)

Cover condition: EX+ (would have been NM- except for very light corner bumps)

Note: I'm a collector, not a dealer. The reason I'm selling is to downsize my collection. Every record I offer was hand-picked based on its merits on music, performance, and sonics (not necessarily in that order!).
