Original UK red & plum Atlantic label stereo issue LP.
The third Vanilla Fudge LP released in June 1968. It was their first album to feature mostly original material, with five of its seven tracks penned by band members. It also included "The Spell That Comes After" by Essra Mohawk (but erroneously credited to Zappa's art director Cal Schenkel) and a cover of "Season of the Witch" by Donovan. The band also interpolates lyrics from a second Essra Mohawk song, "We Never Learn" into their rendition of "Season of the Witch". This is the first pressing with the A//2 B//2 matrices and 1/ 1/ stampers of the earliest issues.
  The Mac Neill Press front laminated sleeve is intact and in EX condition, it has some very light corner/edge wear and some light laminate rubbing on the front cover and some light storage rubbing on the rear cover. The spine is intact and fully readable and the plain inner is intact & in EX condition.

The record is in visually EX+ condition with very little evidence of being played, except for a couple of faint hairlines visible under bright light on each side that do not affect play. The labels are clean & bright, in EX+ condition, with evidence of one or two faint spindle markings.

The sound reproduction is EX+, with no crackle or hiss and definately no skips, sticks or jumps on either side, but there is some very brief background noise during the run in grooves, overall a really great, loud & clear listen.   The matrix nos. are 588110, A//1 mother stamper 4-1, B//1 mother stampers 1-6. This is one of the earliest pressings of the original 1968 UK stereo 1st press issue of this album.

  All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!!   UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2kg,
