Vanity 6 is the provocative 1982 self titled debut studio album by the female vocal trio created and produced by Prince released on Warner Bros Records catalog WBK 57023. This landmark release of the Minneapolis Sound features the massive dance club hit Nasty Girl which became a definitive anthem of the early eighties synth pop and funk scene. The album is heavily infused with Princes signature production style blending electronic drum machines with sexually charged lyrics and minimalist arrangements. Other notable tracks include He s So Dull and Drive Me Wild showcasing the groups unique blend of new wave and R&B.
