Various - Recommended Records Sampler LP + inserts, glitter, 7" Art Bears, EX+)

This is a double LP promo set of a whole lot of great stuff by various artists called Recommended Records Sampler, released in the UK by Recommended Records in 1982.   

This is a genuine, hand done promo package with loads of extras.   This item is extremely rare and in fantastic condition.  The set is numbered 112 of only 500 and is personalised to a "Phil Roden" with personal Thanks.  

VINYL:  EX+       Both records are exceptional with only a couple faint surface marks in total. 

LABELS: EX+      There are no spindle marks, no wear, stains, sticker marks or writing. 

EXTRAS: EX+      There are several extras.

Letter from the record company beginning "Dear Friends".   It has been stuck to the PVC sleeve so there is extremely faint spots of fading where the printing has stuck to the PVC sleeve (Not noticeable).  The letter confirms this set was hand assembled and parts were individually hand coloured/drawn. 

12" lyric insert:  EX+

Christmas card: EX      The card looks to be silk screened in black and then hand coloured with pink marker.  The back side of the front panel has some greasy stains around where the pink colouring has been added thus making me think they were hand coloured, not printed.  There is a small printed insert which has stuck to the inside of the card so there is some print transfer on the card and fading of the printing on the insert.  

7" : MINT       The 7" is a one sided, clear vinyl single with screen printed, GLOW IN THE DARK printing on the B side.  Whooooo!!!   The single comes in a tri-fold wrap sleeve which is also in MINT condition.  The wrap sleeve looks hand drawn and is numbered on the end.  THIS IS NUMBER 112 of 500 ONLY!  

SLEEVE:  EX        The inner wrap sleeve has only slight edge wear on the folded edge, slight roll in the top edge and a couple nicks on the right side edge.  

SLEEVE:  VG+      The PVC sleeve has "Recommended Record Sampler, new music double LP" written in glow in the dark glitter pen, done by Hand!!   The sleeve is only being graded VG+ because it has some black printing transfer from the letter on the inside of the sleeve.

SELLER RATINGS:   Please realize dispatch time is NOT the same as delivery time.  I cannot control the post office.  You are meant to rate MY dispatch time... meaning the time from your payment to my posting.  Due to some buyers not understanding this, I am likely going to lose my Top Seller status which means my items will be harder for you to find and might cost you more to buy.   

POSTAGE COSTS/TIME:   Ebay is not my primary employment and therefore I cannot get to the post office every day.  I will post within 5 business days of cleared payment.  Please make sure you are happy to wait at least 6 days (UK) for your item before bidding.   I do not post on weekends or holidays.

Email for combined postage rates.  I use heavy mailers with stiffeners and plastic sleeves which are included in the postage.  All items will have Proof of Postage.  Anything over £30 will be sent recorded delivery which is £0.95 extra within the UK and £5.15 in addition to normal postage charges for the rest of the world.  Special Delivery is available upon request.   This will cost more so please ask for estimated postage charges before you buy.     With apologies to our buyers, we have had to increase postage costs in response to a massive increase in postage by Royal Mail.  We still only charge what it costs us + a few pence for the cost of packing materials.  

We will also be increasing postage again in September because Ebay will start charging us a Final Valuation Fee on our POSTAGE & PACKING COST as well!!  I encourage you to complain to ebay.co.uk about this.  I don't want to do it but we cannot afford to pay the difference on every item from our own pocket.  

SOUTH AMERICAN BUYERS: ALL items are shipped via International Signed For postage.  No exceptions.  Please wait for your invoice before paying.  

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:  Stuff is taking up to 4 weeks to get to you. Please keep that in mind.

RETURNS:  Quite simple:  For any reason you aren't happy, send it back to me.  If I messed up - full refund including return postage.   If I didn't mess up - refund of purchase less postage.  Email me with anything,  I'm flexible so just give me a chance to work things out.   

ITEM CONDITION:  All items are used unless otherwise stated.  I do my best to describe everything as accurately as possible but I'm human and do get it wrong sometimes.  I will happily accept returns with full refund + postage when the item is received in the condition it was sent.  I am using the Record Collector grading guide and only visually grade.  Any records I'm not sure about, I will listen to and note in the description.

After reading all this, if I make a mistake, I would appreciate not receiving bad ratings for item description as I am an honest, independent seller and am trying my best.  Please contact me with questions before bidding and I will provide extra photos of sleeve, spine and record condition upon request.
