The Rojac Singles Box is presented in a collector's 45 rpm record carrying case with an alligator-textured finish featuring a three color embossed metal Rojac logo. The set includes seven classic Rojac and Tay-Ster singles with faithful reproductions of the original labels. Each box also includes a pair of unique 7" slipmats emblazoned with the Rojac logo.

Each set also includes a bonus eighth 7": an all new Kenny Dope edit of The Third Guitar's "Baby Don't Cry". Both the vocal and instrumental edit are included on a special red vinyl pressing

Founded in 1963 Rojac Records was Jack Taylor's attempt to capture the musical pulse of Harlem. Through out the 60s (and into the 80s) the imprint released a steady stream of releases. Whether they were hits or near hits they're all exceptional in quality. This deluxe collector's set highlights some of the best singles from the Rojac catalog including Big Maybelle's 1967 offering, "I Can't Wait Any Longer", Chico and Buddy's frenetic funk on 1971's "A Thing Called The Jones", and many more including Little Jewel's "I Want To", the first single issued on the Tay-Ster imprint and Tolbert's "I've Got It" released in 1982 as the last 7" issued on the Rojac imprint. The story of Jack Taylor's storied imprint has a new chapter with this deluxe collectors edition.

Payment can be made by Paypal Only.

We accept Paypal cheques, but need to wait for clearance before despatching your item.

POSTAGE

At Netdiscs we ensure you get the postage and packing service you require - we can send by 1st, 2nd or Recorded delivery within the UK and Air or Airsure to any overseas destination.  We no longer use surface mail due to the length of delivery time and any overseas items over £20 will now have to be sent by Airsure.

We hate being overcharged for postage, it’s money for nothing. So we aim to keep our postage costs fair and transparent. Obviously each item is different, but we’ve done a fair bit of work to establish the correct postage price before posting.  If you feel hard done by, please get in contact.

PACKAGING

We’re record lovers too and hate receiving items marked as ‘Mint’ and turns out to be scuffed or ripped. This can be avoided!

We use top quality packaging materials - so all our items arrive with you, the buyer, in top notch condition.

Please note: all records are removed from their sealed packaging UNLESS REQUESTED OTHERWISE. Once removed from their packaging, they are kept in a 250g polysleeve which ensures protection. The record(s) and its sleeves are then placed between 2 stiffeners. This ensures that everything arrives exactly as you’d want it to.

Remember - we all need to recycle where possible, so with larger orders and larger items, we re-use the packing boxes and protective wrapping received from our suppliers.

The charges for packaging are based on the following:

Grading based on Record Collector Guidelines:

Mint   The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent   The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good   The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good   The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.

Fair   The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor   The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Bad   The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
