Cover: Fragile, non-laminated gatefold cover, with sharp colours. There is a some edge-wear and a little bit of corner-wear, but no seam splits, tears or creases. The opening edge is still fairly clean and the back cover shows just the faintest hint of ringwear (barely noticeable). Apart from the corner-wear that I have already mentioned, the spine is relatively clean with the text clear and easy to read. This would have been an excellent cover if it wasn't for the fact that there are two ink-stamps on the front cover (visible in photo). These were stamped by the shop where this record was originally sold - Boots in Reading (back in the days when Boots used to sell records). Despite its flaws, still a nice cover for its age; strictly graded as VG+.
Inner Sleeve: The original inner sleeve is missing. I will, however, include the 'Mobile Fidelity' rice paper inner sleeve that I have kept this record in since I bought it.
Labels: Philips black labels with silver text and a moderate amount of spindle trails.
Vinyl: A few light hairlines and very minor scuffs, most only visible under a halogen light. There are some crackles here and there and one or two occasional soft ticks (which, given the sparse and delicate nature of the music is somewhat inevitable), but none of these are loud or intrusive and do not detract from the music itself. There are no loud pops or clicks and no skips. A totally enjoyable original with clear and distortion-free sound; graded as VG+.
Additional Info: All of the vinyl that I am selling is from my personal collection, and has been cleaned on a VPI HW 16.5 Record Cleaning Machine. After cleaning, I keep all of my records in ‘Mobile Fidelity’ rice paper inner sleeves and store them with the records outside of the covers in plastic, re-sealable protective sleeves.
