I'm back with another 45 auction. This one is all soul/doo-wop/R&B from the 1950's and 60's. Several really cool records here including some King/Federal, some West Coast small label stuff and a handful of promos.

Release: The El Dorados w/ Al Smith's Orch. - I'll Be Forever Loving You / I Began To Realize


Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1955


Notes: Maroon label first pressing. Early single by this Chicago group that had a hit with Crazy Little Mama. Like a lot of singles of the era, the a-side here is an upbeat R&B track with some elements of doo-wop & the b-side is more of a straight ahead ballad. Both of these are really good tracks.

Vinyl Condition: VG++, Vinyl itself is in really nice shape bright and shiny. A couple of very light scuffs in the deadwax, but very close to NM. It plays well and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, hardly any background noise at all. Labels have some very light scuffing, but nice overall. This one is in top notch condition.
