Description
This is part of a large auction featuring blues, R&B and doo-wop, all from Chicago-based labels. There is a lot of great stuff here from many Chicago artists including Little Walter, Muddy Waters and other forefathers of the genre with few bonus listings as well.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1958
Notes: White label promo first pressing. By this time Alan Freed was aware of the group and asked for a writing credit. The group declined and as a result, they were never played on his show. Nice uptempo R&B leaning doo-wop here.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, Vinyl itself is in nice shape and super-clean with just a couple of light scuffs. It plays well and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, hardly any background noise at all. Labels nice, with no tears or stickers, but there is some minor scuffing. It does have a marker X on one side, likely to indicate the plug side. This is a really nice copy overall.
All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. Check back in a couple of weeks for another new genre auction: dance records from the 70's to the early 2000's.
