Description

Velvet Underground & Nico

"S/T" LP

The classic East Coast/NYC kiss-off to the Summer of Love! This is not a first pressing but still has the peelable Andy Warhol cover with the yellow banana skin sticker over a pink banana printed on the jacket. The record label still lists 'European Son - To Delmore Schwartz' tho Delmore's name is not listed in the song title on the inside of the gatefold jacket. Also, the back cover is of later origin in that it has Lou Reed's face in the background above the band rather that the upside down Eric Emerson of the first pressings. CONDITION -
Jacket: G with light overall wear and the following: 1) the initials PMK written in blue ink on front cover; 2) the initials 'PK' in black ink on inside cover; 3)it appears the yellow banana sticker has been peeled off and replaced on the cover -- unfortunately, the sticker is torn all the way across about halfway up the banana; 4) there are three strips of scotch tape; 5) there is a piece of clear tape along the bottom of the back jacket lp pocket. Also, on the Side 1 record label, the initials 'PK' are written in black twice; and the original Verve inner sleeve is missing. See pics below for all this.
Vinyl: Near Mint! Very Clean and Glossy! TRACKS - SEE PICS BELOW
