Hi there my friends,
Up for sale is a highly desirable and tough to come by Velvets album: The Velvet Underground And Nico. Stereo issue of this album on Verve, a nice player copy and rare album to house in one's collection.
Vinyl is on the lowest scale of VG- in my opinion. Some visible scratches. Plays through nicely and without obtrusive skipping or repeats, but has clearly audible surface noise. Not overwhelming surface noise but definitely presently audible. A couple audible pops, one pop causes one light skip during the track "Heroin." Overall actually a nice listen, good listen, and a decent copy for an album of its age.
As you can see vis a vis cover, the banana has been peeled. At right gatefold, there are a couple tape repairs that I tried to show. One light seam split at middle inside of gatefold. Overall fairly presentable and still a really cool cover to appreciate and a cool rarity.
A nice play copy to add to your collection and a great find. I will place it accordingly due to surface noise and the pops mentioned, as well as the tape repairs.
