Scare Polydor 1986 UK limited edition box set which contains 5 albums 3 of which were pressed for this box set only: Velvet Underground & Nico, White Heat/White Light, The Velvet Underground, VU and Another View (unreleased). Housed in a 12/12 box, contents include the often missing 8 page (2 sheets) stapled booklet and double sided insert on the band belonging to the album VU. All five vinyls Ex+/NM-

Another View - Polygram 829 405-1, no country of origin listed (probably English press) Side 1: 829405A//1 420W 1 1 / Side 2: 829405B//1 420W Neutral black sleeve, white label. The white label and box track list say "WE'RE GONNA HAVE A GOOD TIME TOGETHER" - "Real" is missing.
Box: Includes original sticker; box is still hinged, so opens up revealing albums, booklet & insert, there are signs of age related shelf wear, one corner is split, and there is a tear on that one side (see photos), other than that all sides are fine - if not for the tear it would easily grade solid VG+, so probably slightly more VG than VG+ however a lot better than some I have seen.
Booklet and insert both EX+ more NM-
Sleeve/covers: all are minimum EX more NM- the only fault some extremely minute corner-rub this is mainly on black covers where it shows. Have owned since almost new and only played once, as have the 60’s and 70’s originals and currently doing a bit of thinning - was lucky to see them at the London School of Printing in 1971, although Lou Reed had long departed.
Vinyls: all visually retain there natural sheen (see photos), even under light and with a magnifying glass there are no real signs of play all in EX+/NM- condition - please see my ratings for confidence.
Audio: all five play with no problems - clean separation strong sharp clear audio, no pips or pops nothing that interferes with listening (played on a Project carbon - Ortofon 2M blue) graded EX+/NM-

I have tried to be honest and transparent in my description, the photographs form part of the description. Questions are welcome, don't hesitate to ask. I am a collector of 47+ years, the few records I sell are either the results of upgrades, duplicates or a bit of thinning every now and again. If anything is not as expected, please contact me straight away and I will do everything to resolve any problems without argument.
I strictly adhere to the Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide using one + or - for addition guidance:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
