Description

This is the original 1972 Monarch pressing on Cotillion Records (SD5900).
Vinyl is gorgeous, pristine, and sounds basically perfect after a careful listen through Stax headphones.
Not just a gorgeously casual show from this great band, in what doesn't sound like a full room at the tiny Max's, but you can also hear the guy operating the tape recorder (is it Billy Name?) trying to order a Pernod in between songs. You're right there. 
(This is making me want to go buy a bottle of Pernod tonight.)
Good price for the real thing, given the price of reissues and the sweet condition of this 50+-year-old original.
The sleeve doesn't show much wear but has a couple of wrinkles on the bottom corners, so I'm calling it VG+.
