Flexi disc 7"
Speed 33 rpm
Released 1967

Plays great with a few pops. No skips.  Record is intact. Run-in groove complete.  Spindle hole still tight. This is the actual photo of the item that you will receive if you win this auction. If anyone would like more photos, simply email me through eBay and I will provide them for you.

This Flexi disc was included in Andy Warhol's Index (book/ multimedia package, published by Black Star Books in 1967).  Sources say it was released in February 1967 - BEFORE The Velvet Underground & Nico was released - others say November (after).    
  One-sided 7 inch cardboard picture disc of Lou Reed (photo by Billy Name). Other side is blank. Audio is a recording of ingrid Superstar and other Factory people talking and reacting to the book. The Velvet Underground's first album  can be heard in the background. Warhol's book, index, has been long out of print and many of the copies that are for sale go for upwards of $350 if they include this flexi-disc. Many have the flexi-disc missing. Last price drop, then I'm keeping it.
