Description
Original "Velvet Underground with Nico" LP album with the Andy Warhol designed "Banana Cover (banana has been peeled). Record is on the Verve Records label (V6-508), 1967. Record is play tested and is in VG condition. Gatefold cover is in Fair to Good condition. Banana is peeled (as shown). Cover has had noticeable damage (water?) to lower portions with soiling, staining and paper wrinkle and peeling. Also overall surface wear and scuffing with edge splits (heavier splitting on bottom). Inside gatefold is Good with lower part staining. Back is the original 1st pressing cover with the upside down Emerson image. Keeping the record out of the sleeve. Inside of sleeve has heaving soiling and original inner sleeve is stuck there. Record is VG with good label. Records ship in sturdy record mailer.
