Description
- Very hard to find gatefold cover deep groove label first pressing stereo LP “The Velvet Underground & Nico” (Verve V6 5008, US issue) with the very scarce torso back cover and removable banana front cover.
- The tracklist on this legendary 1967 Andy Warhol produced album is: Sunday Morning/I’m Waiting For A Man/Femme Fatale/Venus In Furs/Run Run Run/All Tomorrow‘s Parties/Heroin/There She Goes Again/I’ll Be Your Mirror/The Black Angel’s Death Song/European Son.
- The LP is visually near mint and plays with just some light occasional surface noise. The labels show very little evidence of play. The gatefold cover has no splits or cutouts. There are a few wrinkles but, otherwise, there is very little wear. The banana appears to have been removed at one time and replaced showing some of the stress of having been removed. A small portion at the top and bottom are missing and there are a couple of small tears. Included is the original inner sleeve.
