Description
The Velvet Underground & Nico - 1st LP
(MGM 2315 056 UK LP 1967)
This is a UK original 1971 "MGM" LP pressing. It has a matt gatefold sleeve, & comes with its original polythene-lined company inner sleeve. This is in VG+ condition.
The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has 1st press A-1/ B-1 matrix stampers. The next best thing to pricey original pressings. It also the first UK pressing to include the original sleeve design minus the peelable banana.
Gatefold Sleeve: Some light to mild overall fading to the sleeve. There is some light, mild & more moderate rubbing wear in some places. VG+ condition.
Vinyl: Mild sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. VG+ condition. The labels are clean & show mild spindle wear. Plays VG+ overall & Near EX in some places. There is some light crackle in some quieter places.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).
Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.65 to £7.85 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £7.75 to £11.50 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £20. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
