VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO - TORSO COVER STEREO
Beautiful copy of this rare album cover.
Cover condition is EX. Banana is still intact although it appears there was an attempted peel at some point. There is a ding on the spine, which is pictured. Coin is used for scale reference. There is a corner bend as well, which is pictured. No writing on cover, front or back. Back cover looks great, excellent color.
LP - Side 2 is VG- but Side 1 is unplayable and I do mean unplayable. Someone must have taken great offense to Side 2 at some point because it is scratched beyond playability. I'm just trying to be honest with my grading and I don't want anyone to be disappointed.
Not sure what it is about this record but this is not the first copy I've seen like this. Maybe parents in 1966 were too scared and thought this lp would summon the devil!!??
Buyers should consider this a cover only auction but I will include the lp for completeness reasons. If you already have a copy of the lp with a non-torso cover you can put together a nice original pressing package with this cover.
