Description
About This Record. This is an original USA mono copy of The Velvet Underground's first LP, The Velvet Underground & Nico on Verve V-5008. Mono first pressing with the Torso back cover that has not been covered over with a sticker! PLEASE see all my additional photos and details regarding condition of the cover and vinyl below. The photos list the songs and any possible details about the labels, except the matrix numbers which I will provide if you ask.

Cover Condition. Good. Cover has major nasty stain on front top middle of the cover from some type of liquid! Light ring wear, some red rubs on back lower spine edge. Very strong and solid spine, one inch top gatefold .seam split, some shelf wear but no other major splits. Inside of gatefold cover at top also shows staining from H2O no doubt. Very light corner rubs.
Vinyl Condition. EX-. Vinyl Looks VG+ with some noticeable light paper marks, a couple light marks and IMPORTANTLY one noticeable non-stylus scuff that fortunately does not affect play whatsoever (I listened closely); the vinyl plays mainly EX/better, but there are a couple of light stylus marks that cause four or five tickers in two or three places in the LP. Otherwise a very nice listen. Quieter than most pressings, especially on the shower songs. So EX-; close to a keeper copy for most folks.

Labels EX+ labels; light spindle marks, more so on one side; see photos
Innsersleeve. This vinyl comes cleaned on my VPI record cleaning machine in a white plain paper sleeve, but includes the original Verve Records factory paper innersleeve this vinyl inhabited when I acquired it.
About Me. I have been a Record Collector for Decades. I bought this many years ago during my travels and have kept it well-preserved in plastic sleeves and vinyl separated outside the cover.
