Description

Up for auction is an early pressing of White Light/White Heat by The Velvet Underground.  It is on Verve Records. Unclear exactly what pressing it is - it is possible it is a unofficial pressing from the early 1970's.  The back cover contains both the error listing "Here She Comes Now" is printed as "There She Comes Now" and has the Andy Warhol "Cover Concept" credit that was removed on later versions.  It does not have a skull on the front cover.  
Side 1 is VG+ with some surface marks, but nothing feelable.  Side 2 is closer to NM-.  The cover is in VG condition with some rubbing on the front, edgewear, cornerwear, ringwear, and a 3" seam split on the top egde.  There is also a punch out in the upper lefthand corner.  I have playtested this record and it sounds very nice to my ear - no skipping.
