Velvet Underground White Light/White Heat Vinyl LP UK 1st Press A2/B1 UK Stereo
This is a genuine UK 1st Pressing of Velvet Underground 'White Light/White Heat', originally released on Verve Records in 1968. The distinguishing features of this record are as follows:

The vinyl condition is graded as G '(Good) with numerous micro-hairlines and some more visible marks and scratches - however there is nothing feelable and this has been tested front to back with no skips or jumps. The sound is more crackly at the edges and into the first track then it improves to the degree where background noise and occasional louder pops are present though not overpowering the music. Therefore the sound quality is variable but always listenable.
The sleeve is good also, intact with no damage or writing. There are creases and there is age-related discolouration but this is a perfectly useable sleeve.
Overall G/G and priced accordingly - this is valued significantly lower than the potential value for this pressing and is still very collectable in this condition.

Please see the following grading guidelines which I use to grade all media: Items will be described in the following order: Media/Cover (i.e. VG/G+)
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
CD's are similarly graded though the Jewel case is disregarded in grading. The grading applies to the media and the insert. Cassettes will simply be described in their playing condition and are all tested.
