Description
THE VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO, Verve V-5008, mono, gatefold jacket, torso cover, cover design by Andy Warhol.
On this 1967 classic, The Velvet Underground (Lou Reed, John Cale, Sterling Morrison, Maureen Tucker) and Nico perform Sunday morning, I'm Waiting For the Man, Femme Fatale, Venus In Furs, Run Run Run, All Tomorrow's Parties, Heroin, There She Goes Again, I'll Be Your Mirror, The Black Angel's Death Song, European Son. The torso of a man with arms up is shown upside down on back - this image was removed after the first printing run.
Condition of record is E-, some very light scuffing, no scratches, several spindle marks, plays clean and quiet. Jacket shows some overall wear, 3 inch seam split bottom center. Banana has been peeled off. Small name lightly written on front, name written in 1/2 inch letters inside.

M = Mint. Brand new, unplayed. We never use the term "mint" to describe a used record, no matter how clean the record is.
E = Excellent. Some evidence of having been played, with no audible defect.
V = Very Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
G = Good. Not really all that good. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.
We think that most buyers want to receive their winnings quickly, so we offer the fastest mail options and we pack our records very carefully in heavy duty mailers. Shipments are made on Saturday and Tuesday mornings. Records which have been paid for by 3:00 PM on Fridays and Mondays will be shipped on the next shipping day.;
