Description

Basically, you should almost always want to have Callas' interpretation of your favorite operas in your collection because she somehow transcends merely singing the role beautifully and actually brings the characters to life. In other words, she's the finest actress in opera and brings psychological complexity and dignity to her performances. Now, I never like to promise perfection with records: to me the occasional click or pop is simply expected if you are buy vintage recordings. I did play side 4 because I noticed some scuff marks but not only were these marks inaudible, the record sounded quite close to perfect and the other sides look excellent as well.
