RARE release from Texas rockabilly singer VERN PULLENS, on the Spade label: Rock Crazy baby b/w It's My Life. 45 rpm single.
Spade Records catalog #45-1927. Released 1956.
This is a vinyl 45, not a CD!
We test-play all records we offer at auction, on a high-end Technics turntable with a Shure M95HE cartridge. We set tracking weight to 2.0 grams for vintage 45s.
Note that if you have a true monaural cartridge & stylus, you'll get better sound on 60-year old 45 vinyl disks, due to the groove width: It is wider than the grooves on modern stereo disks.
Disk grading: Very Good Plus. Surfaces are lightly scuffed, but have a good, uniform shine overall. Light surface noise. No skips and no deep scratches. No audible distortion (from groove wear).
Label grading: Very Good to Excellent. No writing, minimal ring marking.
Record is shipped in a generic white MCA sleeve which is in very good condition. Record will be packed between oversize pieces of heavy corrugated paperboard for secure shipping.
