Description

This is a goldmine for anyone interest in the Vernons Girls circa 57-61. Comprising six single releases which for some strange reason have not yet been released on cd, they are:

 

Lost and found/White bucks and saddle shoes

Jealous heart/Now is the month of Maying

We like boys/Boy meets girl

Madison time/The oo-we

Ten little lonely boys/Anniversary song

Let's get together/No message

 

Now these have been around for over 50 years, I have only had them myself for two or three years. The quality at best is good and a couple of tracks are quite scratchy. If the buyer requests I will include free of charge a home made mp3 cd including these tracks and their other single release Don't look now, their original Vernons girls 12 track album predating their Oh Boy days, The Ladybird albums number one hits of 1977 and Ladybird Country and various single releases by Ladybirds/Sharades/De Laine sisters

. All on one mp3 cd all in mono. Not terrific quality but a very good price.

Will also include a disc of press cuttings from the NME and Record Mirror and a signed tape from a later incarnation of the Vernons Maggie, Sheila and Penny
