"V-Discs" were special recordings, featuring music otherwise generally unavailable, specially recorded for the Service Men and Women... This one is #813, and leads off with "COUNT BASIE, BUDDY RICH, ROY ELDRIDGE and ILLINOIS JACQUET", "JUMP!" ...the number is: "LADY BE GOOD"..  The "b" side features and rare group, "THE LIEDERKRANZ ALL STARS" ...  "Burns, Jackson, Phillips, Herman, Harris, and Hefti" and "COUNT BASIE AND HIS CREW"...  ""WEDDING IN GOLD" and "BASIE STRIDES AGAIN".."SWING!"   Condition of the labels; EX or NM, slight wear... SOLID, JACKSON! Condition of the playing surfaces; EX or NM, clean, a few slight scuffs......
