Description
Something New JUKEBOX COMPACT 33 Capitol SXA 2108, Stereo, October 1964, East Coast only . During the sixties, Capitol issued stereo Compact 33 discs of some of the label's most popular albums for jukebox play. These 7" records had a small center hole and played at 331/3 RPM. These mini-albums were normally programmed with three songs from the album on each side of the disc. The songs featured on the Compact 33 records were often unavailable in the 45 singles format. Capitol produced three Beatles Compact 33s starting with Meet The Beatles, then The Beatles' Second Album and Something New being the final two. All three were manufactured by Capitol's Scranton factory. As these records were intended for jukebox play Condition Very Good with 1 small scratch and a few paper scuffs.
